Most people fill their outdoor planters with colorful flowers or summer vegetables, but TikToker @JakieLuchan’s mom discovered something much cuter growing in hers.
During a recent heat wave, she found at least five tiny baby bunnies snuggled together beneath the leaves of one of her plants. The fluffy little rabbits appeared to be using the planter’s shade to escape the scorching temperatures, and they looked perfectly content after making themselves right at home.
The short and sweet video quickly melted hearts online. Viewers were especially amused by one question that kept popping up in the comments: “Where can we buy bunny seeds?”

It is easy to understand why the clip made so many people smile. Finding a bundle of baby rabbits “growing” in a flower pot may be one of the cutest gardening surprises imaginable.
Jackie later shared several updates, revealing that the bunnies stayed in the planter for about a week. She made sure they had access to water and carefully moved the planter to a shadier area of the patio to help keep them cool during the heat wave.
There were at least five babies when they were first discovered. Over the next several days, their number gradually dropped to three as the young rabbits began leaving the planter. Eventually, Jackie watched the final bunny hop away and venture out on its own.
The planter may be empty again, but after receiving such kind treatment, perhaps the adorable little visitors will return someday to say hello.
