A 100-year-old Galápagos tortoise at the Philadelphia Zoo may have just become one musician’s most unforgettable fan.

French singer-songwriter @Plumes has been serenading animals at the zoo, but one recent performance appeared to catch the attention of a particularly impressive listener.

In a heartwarming video, the musician sits inside a zoo habitat playing an acoustic song as the enormous tortoise slowly makes his way toward the music.

The clip was appropriately captioned “The concert of the century” — a fitting description considering the curious audience member has been alive for roughly 100 years.

At first, the tortoise can be seen at a distance. But as the gentle music continues, he inches closer and closer until his massive head nearly fills the camera frame.

By the end of the video, the tortoise is just inches away from the singer, seemingly fascinated by the unusual performance happening inside his habitat.

The peaceful encounter also gave viewers an incredible close-up look at the Galápagos tortoise, a species famous for its enormous size and extraordinary lifespan.

People watching online couldn’t get enough of the sweet interaction.

“These videos remind me how there is still so much love and beauty in the world and how we are all connected,” one viewer wrote.

“This was incredible,” another commented.

One fan told the musician there was “some kind of magic” in his music, while another thanked him for creating touching moments for animal lovers.

Whether the century-old tortoise was truly enjoying the song or simply investigating the unexpected visitor, one thing was clear — he definitely wanted a front-row seat.
