A group of Wisconsin alpacas has discovered a hilarious new way to survive the summer heat, and the internet cannot get enough of their reactions.
Eagle Eye Farm has been giving its animals sprinklers and different water toys to help them cool down as temperatures climb into the upper 90s.
As this new video shows, the farm’s latest addition is a blue-and-orange sprinkler that spins like a windmill, shooting water in every direction.
At first, the female alpacas did not appear convinced that the strange device could be trusted.
A curious gray-and-white alpaca slowly approached the sprinkler to investigate. Once she moved closer, the rest of the herd cautiously followed behind her.
Within moments, the entire group was gathered around the spinning contraption, staring at it as though it had just landed from another planet.
Instead of immediately running through the water, the alpacas began carefully drinking from the sprinkler’s moving arms.
That was when the real comedy began.

One fluffy, caramel-colored alpaca enthusiastically stomped her foot as the water sprayed across her face and head. She appeared both delighted and completely confused by what was happening.
Another alpaca tried to catch the water using only the very front of her lips. The unusual technique created a hilarious underbite that put her teeth on full display.
The farm shared the adorable encounter on its TikTok account, explaining that the herd has become more confident each time a new water toy appears.
“They’re getting braver every time we bring out a new water toy, and it’s been so much fun watching their confidence grow,” the farm wrote.
“With temperatures hitting the high 90s, there’s no better way to cool off than splashing around.”
The alpacas may not fully understand how their spinning sprinkler works, but they have clearly decided that it provides refreshing water, free entertainment and the perfect excuse to make everyone watching laugh.
