Sometimes the tiniest dogs have the biggest personalities — and one little Chihuahua named Franklin definitely has some strong feelings about being left behind.
Franklin recently discovered that his mom had gone on vacation without him, and judging by his reaction, he was not about to let the betrayal slide quietly.
His owner set up a hidden camera to capture the little brown Chihuahua’s response while she was away. The hilarious footage was later shared on Instagram, where it quickly racked up more than 100,000 views.
In the video, Franklin casually walks down the hallway, seemingly minding his own business. But everything changes when he reaches a closed door.
The tiny pup suddenly lets out a dramatic howl before pawing at the door, apparently demanding that somebody let him through. And Franklin doesn’t give up easily.
For such a small dog, he has an impressive set of lungs — and plenty to say about his mom daring to take a trip without him.

Viewers immediately rallied behind Franklin and his very public display of outrage.
“Crash out, my boy, crash out. They should listen better to you!!” one person joked.
Another viewer suspected Franklin was working through some complicated emotions.
“😂 I just love this little guy. He’s so heartbroken, but I think he might also be in the anger stage of grief,” they wrote.
Others couldn’t get over the Chihuahua’s surprisingly powerful vocal performance.

Another summed up Franklin’s entire personality perfectly, writing, “Idk how something with so much attitude is so small😍😂.”
Franklin may have been left off the vacation itinerary, but he certainly made sure everyone knew exactly how he felt about it. With that much personality packed into such a tiny body, his mom might want to think twice before taking another trip without him.
