Every parent knows the struggle of watching their kid become obsessed with one toy they simply cannot get enough of.
At the Akita Prefectural Oga Aquarium in Japan, that “toy” happens to be a traffic cone.
Eight-month-old polar bear cub Momota has developed an adorable obsession with the cones, and his mom appears to be completely over it.
Momota has gotten surprisingly creative with them, too. The playful cub can slip a traffic cone over his head and has even learned how to stack as many as four cones at once while wandering around his enclosure.
There is just one obvious problem: He can’t see where he’s going.

In one hilarious moment, Momota blindly bumps around while wearing the cones until the pointed end of one accidentally pokes his mom.
That appears to be the final straw.
Momota’s mother quickly sends the offending cone flying, seemingly making it very clear that playtime has gone far enough.
Channel News Asia had some fun with the adorable clip, joking in the caption that Momota is “out of cone-trol” and is “cone-stantly” playing with his favorite toys.
While his mom might not be impressed by her cub’s latest obsession, aquarium visitors and viewers online can’t seem to get enough of his goofy antics.
And judging by how determined Momota is to keep playing with those cones, his mom may have a long road ahead of her.
