One determined beaver had somewhere to be — and apparently, traffic was just going to have to deal with it.
Colin Bruce, who posts as @canoe_carrier, captured the hilarious moment a beaver brought traffic to a complete stop while dragging a massive tree branch across the road.
The little construction worker seemed completely unfazed by the line of cars waiting nearby.
Instead, the beaver slowly hauled the oversized branch across the pavement one step at a time, looking like it had a very important deadline to meet.

After all, when there’s a dam to build, rush hour can wait.
Colin joked about the unusual traffic jam in the caption, writing, “A busy beaver just putting in the work. My excuses for being late for work are getting almost unbelievable at this point.”
The video is especially funny because of just how awkward the beaver looks while trying to maneuver the giant branch across the street.
But there was no giving up.
The determined animal kept dragging its load until it made its way across, proving that even beavers have places to be and jobs to finish.
And judging by this little guy’s work ethic, he definitely wasn’t planning on calling it an early day.
