Staffordshire Bull Terriers don’t always get the credit they deserve, but one sweet Blue Staffy named Tommy is making a pretty strong case for just how gentle and loving the breed can be.
In an adorable video, Tommy is seen completely devoted to his baby sibling — and he clearly takes his role very seriously.
The pup gently sniffs the baby, cuddles close, watches over them and even plays with them in the sweetest way.

There’s no roughhousing or chaos here. Tommy seems to know exactly how careful he needs to be around the little one.
In fact, he barely wants to leave the baby’s side.
Even when the family is getting ready to head out, Tommy can be seen standing near the car, tail wagging as he watches the parents buckle the baby into the car seat.
It’s almost as if he wants to make absolutely sure his tiny best friend is safe before they go anywhere.
The bond between the two is impossible to miss, and Tommy looks every bit like a proud, protective big brother.
If this video proves anything, it’s that this good boy has already decided exactly where he belongs — right next to the baby.
