Every once in a while, a pet looks so much like a cartoon character that it almost doesn’t seem real.
That’s exactly what happened with one adorable orange Scottish Fold who has viewers convinced he looks like Puss in Boots brought to life.
In a short clip shared by @albertthefold, the fluffy orange cat sits upright on a couch with perfect posture, keeping a close eye on his owner.
The caption reads, “Always making sure I’m watching.”

Then the cat slowly turns his head toward the camera, revealing his huge round eyes, tiny flattened ears and unbelievably expressive face.
The resemblance to Puss in Boots was immediate.
All he really needs is a pair of boots, a feathered hat and a tiny sword.
“Get him some boots & a hat right now,” one viewer joked.
Others couldn’t get over how calmly the cat sits upright without tipping over as he turns to look directly at the camera.
His round body and serious expression also reminded viewers of several other famous characters.
“Aw, he built like Eric Cartman,” one commenter wrote, comparing him to the South Park character.
Plenty of others saw another famous orange cat entirely.
Several people started making Garfield jokes, with one viewer calling him a “real-life Garfield.”
Another wrote, “I thought this was a teaser trailer for a new Garfield movie 😭.”
Whether he looks more like Puss in Boots, Garfield or even Eric Cartman, one thing is obvious: this orange Scottish Fold has the kind of face that belongs in a cartoon.
