Golden Retrievers have a way of making friends with just about anyone. It doesn’t seem to matter whether they’ve known someone for years or met them five seconds ago — they’re usually just thrilled to have a new buddy.

One Golden Retriever proved exactly that after moving to the countryside in Northern Ireland with her mom, @sachaliv.

On August 11, the excited pup took her mom outside to meet some of her newest neighbors: a group of cows hanging out on the other side of a fence.

Apparently, simply standing there and saying hello wasn’t exciting enough.

The Golden immediately burst into a case of the zoomies, racing back and forth in front of the cows as if she couldn’t possibly contain how happy she was to introduce everyone.

Meanwhile, the cows seemed far less concerned about the big introduction.

Some calmly continued grazing, while others wandered closer to the fence to get a better look at their energetic new canine neighbor.

The contrast between the ecstatic Golden and the completely unfazed cows made the moment even funnier.

“Nobody knows what’s happening but everyone loves it,” commenter @maddiep522 joked.

Another viewer, @krscamp22, had a theory about why the cows seemed so comfortable around her.

“They probably think she is a calf,” the commenter wrote.

Whether the cows actually consider her one of their own is anyone’s guess, but they certainly didn’t appear bothered by her wild burst of enthusiasm.

For the Golden, though, the message was obvious: she has new neighbors, she loves them already, and she wants everybody to know about it.
