A litter of Golden Retriever puppies has officially run out of energy — and the adorable aftermath is melting hearts online.
Instagram user @misty_valley_goldens shared a video showing eight cream-colored Golden Retriever puppies completely wiped out after what appears to have been a very busy day of playing.
“Hard day of play = officially clocked out,” the caption reads.
And they really were.
As the camera moves around the room, the puppies can be seen sprawled across the floor in every possible sleeping position.
Some are stretched out flat on their backs with their tiny paws hanging in the air.
Others are curled up together, while a few twitch in their sleep like they are still running around in their dreams.

One viewer perfectly described the scene.
“Looks like a sleep bomb went off,” they joked.
At one point, one sleepy puppy briefly lifts his head and looks around the room.
Apparently realizing all of his brothers and sisters are still asleep, he immediately gives up and puts his head back down.
“The one that pops up and then says ‘oh we’re still all sleeping, okay’ and goes back to sleep,” one commenter wrote.
Another viewer compared the scene to nap time at school.
“Mandatory Nap time, like we used to have in Kindergarten,” they joked.
After hours of puppy chaos, these little Goldens clearly decided playtime was over.
And judging by the way they are scattered across the floor, waking up was not anywhere on the schedule.
