Anyone who has ever been around a toddler knows that some days are louder than others.
There can be whining, crying, fighting and, if you’re especially lucky, a full-blown meltdown that seems to shake the entire house.
Chuck, an orange cat who traded his former life as a barn cat for the comforts of indoor living, recently found himself caught in the middle of one of those days.
And judging by his face, he was not impressed.
In a hilarious video shared by his owner, Kristen, one of the toddlers in the house can be heard screaming and crying in the background while Chuck sits nearby looking completely exhausted with the situation.

His expression says everything.
Kristen summed up the mood perfectly in the caption: “We’re all tired.”
Parents immediately understood.
One commenter joked, “Chuck is judging your parenting.”
Another compared Chuck’s expression to the face they make whenever they hear children screaming in Walmart, a comment that quickly racked up nearly 140,000 likes.
Others were firmly on Chuck’s side.
“I’m with the cat,” one person wrote.
“We all are,” another replied.
Someone else offered the overwhelmed feline a few words of encouragement: “Hang in there, Chuck… I feel for ya, buddy.”
But perhaps the funniest reactions came from viewers who thought Chuck looked ready to pack his bags.
“Chuck looks like he hates his family,” one person joked.
Another added, “Chuck’s rethinking street life.”
Naturally, the video also sparked some debate among viewers about toddler tantrums, with several commenters insisting their own children were never allowed to behave that way.
Others quickly pushed back, pointing out that nobody watching the short clip actually knew why the child was upset.
One commenter reminded critics that kids sometimes have meltdowns because they’re tired or overwhelmed, before offering Chuck a simple solution: he has legs and can leave.
Fair enough.
Toddlers are going to have tantrums, parents are going to get tired, and cats are apparently going to sit nearby silently judging everybody.
Luckily for the internet, Chuck’s hilariously annoyed face turned one family’s exhausting moment into something thousands of people could laugh about.
