Baseball fans in Georgia got a very different kind of first pitch when a tiny orange kitten named ChipPurr Jones strutted onto the field — and immediately stole everyone’s heart.
The fluffy little feline was brought out during the Gwinnett Stripers’ annual Purr in the Park event, which helps raise money for local animal shelters and encourages pet adoptions.
But while ChipPurr Jones was supposed to be showing off his pitching skills, viewers could not stop looking at something else — his enormous paws.
Video of the moment shows a handler coaxing the kitten toward the pitcher’s mound with treats as he happily prances across the field.
A newscaster even called it “the most adorable first pitch ever,” and it is hard to argue with that.

The clip quickly took off online, with viewers falling in love with the kitten’s fluffy orange coat, confident little walk and those comically oversized feet.
“Looks like a perfect ‘pitch’ to me,” one person joked.
Another viewer had a prediction after getting a good look at his paws: “He is gonna be big.”
One commenter said their own kitten once had paws just like ChipPurr’s and eventually grew to a whopping 27 pounds.
“I think this kitty is gonna be a big boy too!” they wrote.
Whether ChipPurr Jones grows into a giant cat or not, one thing is already clear — he knows how to work a crowd.
And for one night, the cutest player on the field was definitely not wearing a baseball glove.
