A basket full of French Bulldog puppies is safe after Florida deputies rushed into a burning home and came up with an unexpectedly clever way to get every tiny dog out fast.
The dramatic rescue happened during a house fire in Parkland, Florida, where first responders learned that several dogs were still inside.
Among them were five French Bulldog puppies.
Deputies Moses Arce and Hayden Stachura quickly entered the home and began searching for the animals as firefighters worked the blaze.
Once the puppies were found, the deputies needed a way to move all five at once.
Their solution was simple.
They grabbed a laundry basket.
Body-camera footage from the rescue shows the deputies carefully placing the little Frenchies inside one by one before carrying the entire basket out of the house.
The whole rescue took less than a minute.
And one detail made the moment even sweeter.
Before leaving, one of the deputies reportedly grabbed one of the puppies’ toys so the dogs would have something familiar with them after the frightening ordeal.

Thankfully, all five puppies made it out safely.
Their mom and dad were also rescued, along with everyone else who had been inside the home.
None of the dogs were injured.
Broward Sheriff’s Office officials later praised the deputies for acting quickly when the animals could not escape on their own.
“Thanks to the deputies’ decisive actions, every dog survived without injury,” BSO Parkland District Capt. Michele McCardle said.
She added that the rescue showed how seriously deputies take protecting every member of the community, including animals that cannot call for help themselves.
When footage of the rescue was later shared online, viewers quickly fell in love with the sight of five tiny puppies being carried to safety together.
Many also noticed the extra effort to save the toy.
One commenter praised the first responders for making sure everyone — right down to the puppies and their comfort item — made it out safely.
House fires can be especially dangerous for pets because frightened animals often hide instead of running toward an exit.
That makes quick searches by firefighters and police especially important when owners tell responders that animals are trapped inside.
In this case, a basic laundry basket turned out to be the perfect emergency puppy carrier.
The home may have been damaged, but the family came away with what mattered most.
Every person and every dog survived.
