Tiny Ted the mini pig is melting hearts online after showing exactly how comforting a pet can be when someone isn’t feeling their best.
Tiny Ted lives with fellow mini pig Gertie and their humans, Serena Hall and her husband. The adorable pair already have more than 50,000 followers on their social media account, @piggygert, where fans regularly get a glimpse of their surprisingly dog-like personalities.
But one recent cuddle session may be their sweetest moment yet.
In the video, Tiny Ted notices his dad resting while feeling under the weather and decides there is only one acceptable response.
He climbs right up beside him and settles in for a cuddle.

The little pig presses himself close, looking completely content to stay there and keep his human company.
Whether Tiny Ted truly understood that Dad wasn’t feeling well is impossible to know, but the timing certainly makes the moment feel extra special.
And honestly, from behind, he almost looks like a small dog.
It is not until his round little snout comes into view that viewers are reminded this affectionate cuddle buddy is actually a pig.
That sweet behavior is not as surprising as it might seem.
Pigs are highly intelligent and social animals that can form strong bonds with both other pigs and humans. They are known to seek out attention, enjoy physical affection and develop distinct personalities.
Tiny Ted clearly seems to have mastered the art of comfort.
Instead of bringing medicine or a cup of tea, he simply offered the one thing he had plenty of — snuggles.
