One adorable Golden Retriever named Jim recently proved exactly that when his mom took him to a local coffee shop and promised him a pup cup.
From that moment on, Jim had one thing on his mind.
His mom captured the hilarious moment in a TikTok video as Jim carefully watched the barista behind the counter, apparently determined to make sure his special treat didn’t somehow disappear.
Jim wasn’t barking, whining or causing a scene. Instead, he simply stared.
When the barista briefly disappeared behind a large machine, Jim patiently waited for her to return. But the instant she came back into view, his head quickly snapped in her direction.
It was almost as if he was thinking, “There you are. Now about that pup cup…”
His expression said everything.

Golden Retrievers have a reputation for being extremely food-motivated, and Jim certainly appears to fit the description. Once he realized something delicious was being prepared for him, he wasn’t about to lose track of the person responsible for delivering it.
