Sharing is apparently not one of Jules’ strongest qualities.
The 5-month-old Highland calf at Tesch Hillside Ranch had one thing on her mind when it was time to eat: making sure she got as much food as possible.
Instead of simply standing beside the trough like everyone else, Jules came up with a much more effective strategy.
She climbed directly inside it.
With her entire body planted in the food trough, the fluffy little calf managed to block the other cows from getting much of anything.
Her human quickly noticed what was happening and walked over to investigate.
“Um, excuse me?!” she joked after spotting Jules sitting where the food was supposed to go.

She then reminded the calf that this was definitely not the proper way to eat from a trough.
Jules, however, didn’t seem particularly concerned.
She stayed right where she was, looking completely comfortable while her fellow cows waited nearby.
Eventually, though, all the attention seemed to convince Jules that maybe it was time to move.
That’s when things got even funnier.
Her attempt to climb out of the trough was anything but graceful.
The little Highland calf awkwardly worked her way out, creating even more commotion than she had when she first climbed inside.
Still, Jules managed to keep her cool through the whole thing.
She may not have mastered proper feeding etiquette, but she certainly knew how to make mealtime memorable.
Between her fluffy coat, stubborn personality and complete lack of concern about sharing, Jules turned an ordinary feeding into the kind of moment animal lovers can’t help but laugh at.
Hopefully the other cows eventually got their turn at the buffet.
