According to the University of Minnesota Extension, strawberry plants grow low to the ground and produce flowers and fruit on stalks extending from the plant’s crown. They also spread through runners, which eventually develop into new plants.

Of course, the fact that the plant’s appearance is botanically possible doesn’t establish whether this particular video is authentic.
