Three-month-old Golden Retriever Gouda has discovered the most fascinating toy in the house. Unfortunately for him, it belongs to his big brother, Tater the cat, who has absolutely no intention of sharing it!
In an adorable TikTok video shared by @goudaisgolden, the mischievous puppy becomes completely obsessed with catching his gray tabby brother’s swishing tail. Every time Gouda thinks he’s finally got it, Tater casually moves it just out of reach, leaving the determined little pup ready to try again.
And the funniest part? Tater doesn’t seem particularly bothered by his pesky little brother. Instead of walking away, the patient kitty appears to enjoy teasing Gouda, flicking his tail around as though he’s running his own personal puppy entertainment service.
The video’s caption perfectly captures Gouda’s determination: “I’ll get Tater’s tail one day.”

Viewers couldn’t get enough of the hilarious sibling rivalry, with one commenter comparing the pair to a beloved cartoon duo: “Tom and Jerry in a cat and dog version😭😍😂.”
For now, Tater remains the undefeated champion of this adorable game. But something tells us little Gouda isn’t giving up anytime soon. After all, that tail isn’t going to catch itself!
