This grandmother lived alone in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia, and was heartbroken after losing her beloved dog.
“I could see this took a huge toll on my mother and left her incredibly lonely,” said her daughter, Sarah Mills.
But that changed when Mills found Clancy the Golden Retriever at the pet store.
“His big eyes drew us in, and my daughter and I both said we should get him for my mom,” Mills said. “Her reaction confirmed this was exactly what her soul needed.”
Clearly, for this sweet grandmother, it was a case of love at first sight.
