Everyone deserves to have an awesome birthday celebration, including our canine companions. After all, what dog parent doesn’t want to make their fur baby feel special on their birthday?

Here’s a quick review of Beau’s awesome day.
His family gave him a series of choices to make for his birthday. He could choose between getting a bath or going to the park, getting a pup cup, getting a new toy, going for a swim, eating a fine steak dinner, or having birthday cake.
Each step of the way, Beau’s family had him choose between a bath and these other more enjoyable activities. Unsurprisingly, this Golden Retriever never chose the bath option, LOL!
Instagram user beaunosebones, who posted this adorable video, commented on how important Beau is to their family and explained why they wanted to pull out all the stops for him on his special day.
They wrote, “Some people might say this is a little overboard, but we don’t care! Beau is so much more than “just a dog,” he is a member of our family, and we will celebrate each and every one of his birthdays in the same fashion we celebrate our own. Happy Birthday, BoBo! We Love You!”
However, everyone in the comments section agreed that there was nothing overboard about Beau’s birthday celebration at all. Several people, such as Instagram user hudson_heart_of_golden, were adamant that Beau deserves nothing less than this type of celebration when they wrote, “DEFINITELY NOT overboard! I wish every pup in the world could be treated like Beau, baby!”
