Most cats would do anything to catch a bird, just to prove to themselves that they are great hunters. My dog also enjoys trying to hunt and catch birds, but never even comes close because the birds never wait around long enough to be caught.
That’s what makes TikToker purr_furr_cuteness’ video so funny. The video shows an orange cat sitting in a chair outside on the patio. Atop the chair is a bird, calm as all get out, sitting right next to the cat. Then another cat pops up behind the chair, gently trying to ‘pet’ the bird. As Purr Furr says in the video’s caption, “It’s everybody’s first day on the job!”

Purr Furr’s description, “Survival and hunting skills both on 0%” pretty much sums it up for all three of the animals involved! This is one of those videos that you have to see to believe since this is the exact opposite of what everybody would expect to happen! As @phillipbradshaw56 said “Everyone involved in this should be ashamed.”
Commenters also got a kick out of the funny video. @m0gpie said what we were thinking, “I wasn’t expecting the paws… I’m crying!!!” @winterlustjewelery joked, “The fact there is not one working brain cell between the 3 of them LOL!” @chlo_96 added about the orange cat, “The cat on the chair is more bothered by the other cat tapping the bird than the bird is haha!”
Our cat Grizz sits in the breezeway on his chair, watching the world go by.
And birds come and go and sometimes stop, and Grizz just sits and observes.
If a mouse came along, it would be a different story. Grizz becomes The Hunter
