Turns out dogs don’t just love their owners — they’re obsessed with their grandparents, too. Just ask Wally, a golden retriever whose heart-melting reaction to his grandma’s arrival has taken over TikTok.
In the now-viral video shared by Wally Dog, the pup absolutely loses his mind when he spots grandma pulling into the driveway. The clip has racked up a whopping 4.4 million views, more than 557,000 likes, and thousands of comments from people who can’t get enough of the sweet reunion.

As soon as he sees her car, Wally bolts off the couch and races out the back door, tail wagging like crazy. He bounces down the porch stairs and makes a beeline for the gate, where he waits — barely able to contain himself — as grandma tells him to sit. He tries, but the excitement is just too real, and he ends up pawing at the gate in pure joy.
Once he manages to stay still, Wally gets a well-deserved treat for being such a good boy. But the surprises aren’t over yet — grandma hands him a brand new toy, and Wally can’t handle it. He zooms back up the stairs to show it off, trotting around the house with the toy in his mouth like he just won the dog lottery.
