A tiny dog sparked a massive rescue after getting stuck 13 floors above the ground — and the dramatic moment had everyone holding their breath.

Elbie, a 2-year-old Jack Russell, mysteriously vanished from her owner’s apartment balcony at a high-rise in Sydney, Australia, leaving her owner scrambling for answers.

After putting up missing flyers with no luck, a neighbor decided to take matters into his own hands — using a drone to search the outside of the building.

That’s when they made a shocking discovery.

Two days after she disappeared, Elbie was spotted clinging to a narrow space on another balcony — more than 100 feet away from where she started. Somehow, the little dog had slipped through a gap and ended up trapped between windows and metal bars, unable to move.

The resident of that unit had no idea she was there.

“I opened the blinds and saw this poor little thing,” the man said, stunned by what he found.

With no safe way for the dog to get back on her own, emergency crews were called in — and what followed looked like something out of a movie.

A firefighter carefully scaled the outside of the 13th floor, inching his way toward the trapped pup as people watched from below in suspense.

Once he reached her, he secured Elbie with a leash and even set up a safety tarp just in case she slipped.

“She was stuck pretty good,” the firefighter said later. “But she stayed calm, which made a big difference.”

After about 20 tense minutes, Elbie was finally pulled to safety through a nearby window — triggering cheers from the crowd below.

Her owner, who feared the worst, was overwhelmed with relief.

“I didn’t know if I was ever going to see her again,” he said. “I’m just so happy.”
