Some dogs are perfectly happy with the fast pace of city life, but one Golden Retriever is quickly discovering that the countryside has its own kind of magic.
Dog mom @sachaliv recently moved to Northern Ireland with her Golden girl, and the pair have already made plenty of special memories in their new home. Still, nothing has topped the moment the excited pup met her cow neighbors for the first time on June 25.
The Golden Retriever could barely contain herself as she approached the curious herd. With plenty of open space to run and several enormous new neighbors to investigate, she looked completely at home in her new country surroundings.
The cows appeared just as interested in meeting her. They calmly gathered near the fence, lining up for a closer look and even leaning in to give their new canine neighbor a few gentle kisses.

Their relaxed reaction left viewers wondering whether the cows had met dogs before. They may be used to having a farm dog nearby to watch over them or help guide them between pastures, because they seemed completely comfortable throughout the introduction.
Others joked that the Golden Retriever may not have realized the animals were cows at all.
“In her mind, those are big dogs, and she just wants to play!” @courtneyresh commented.
That theory certainly seems possible. The friendly pup appeared ready to play and bond with anyone willing to give her attention, and her outgoing personality may already have earned her a whole herd of new friends.
