A peaceful morning by the ocean became even more magical when a woman spotted a herd of deer joyfully splashing through the waves along the Northern California coast.
Rachel Allen captured the breathtaking scene on July 24 while looking down from a cliff near Sea Ranch. She later shared the video on her social media account, @rallen2932, where it quickly attracted millions of views.
The fog-covered coastline already looked like something from a nature documentary, but the playful deer completely stole the show. The animals could be seen hopping through the shallow water and running along the beach as the waves rolled around them.
