A playful Rottweiler named Dyce has discovered a brand-new talent, and his reaction is almost as adorable as the trick itself.

Dyce was enjoying some time splashing around in his doggy pool with his mom, Donna, when he accidentally stumbled across something fascinating.

After dipping his face into the water and blowing air through his nose, Dyce realized he could make bubbles.

That was apparently all the encouragement he needed.

The curious pup immediately started trying the trick again and again, watching the bubbles appear in front of him with wide eyes and an expression that made it look like he had just discovered something incredible.

Each attempt seemed to make him even more interested.

Instead of simply playing in the water, Dyce turned the pool into his own little science experiment, repeatedly dunking his nose beneath the surface and creating another round of bubbles.

His delighted reaction quickly became the best part.

Donna captioned the sweet moment, “Enjoy the bubbles,” although Dyce certainly didn’t appear to need any encouragement.

Dogs are naturally curious, and many will repeat a new behavior once they realize it creates an interesting sound, movement or reaction. For Dyce, a simple splash in the pool turned into a completely unexpected new game.

Between his giant eyes, determined bubble-making and obvious fascination with his discovery, Dyce managed to turn an ordinary day in the pool into a moment worth watching over and over.

Sometimes the simplest discoveries really are the most exciting — especially when you’re a Rottweiler with a brand-new bubble trick.
