Toffee the Golden Retriever may have found the perfect fetch partner, even if her new teammate is still working on her throwing skills.
In an adorable video, Toffee waits patiently outside a doorway with a tennis ball while her baby sister sits just inside.
The game is simple.
Toffee pushes the ball across the threshold, her little sister picks it up and tosses it back outside, and Toffee immediately runs after it.
Then she brings the ball right back so they can do it all over again.
The baby’s throws may not travel very far yet, but Toffee does not seem to care.
As far as this Golden Retriever is concerned, a throw is a throw.
What makes the moment so sweet is how patient Toffee is throughout the game. She never seems frustrated and happily waits for her little partner to take another turn.

The arrangement also seems perfect for both of them.
Toffee gets someone who is willing to keep throwing the ball, while the baby gets a gentle, enthusiastic playmate who is always ready for another round.
Golden Retrievers are famous for loving fetch, but Toffee has taken things one step further by figuring out exactly how to keep the game going with the smallest member of the family.
Her little sister may not have a strong throwing arm just yet, but Toffee clearly thinks she is doing a great job.
And judging by how quickly the ball keeps coming back, these two may already have the beginning of a very sweet lifelong friendship.
