Most cats would run for the hills at the sight of a Halloween costume, but one fluffy little feline named Gus is proving that getting dressed up doesn’t have to be a struggle.

In fact, this adorable Persian mix might just be the most relaxed Halloween model we’ve ever seen!

Gus and his owner, Gasper, have a special October tradition they call “Gustober.” Every day leading up to Halloween, Gasper dresses his furry best friend in a different costume, turning the entire month into one big celebration of cuteness.

And the best part? Gus seems perfectly happy to go along with it.

In a sweet video from Day 7 of Gustober, the fluffy kitty gets transformed into an adorable little green monster.

But while most cat owners know that putting clothes on a feline can quickly turn into a wrestling match, Gus couldn’t be more cooperative.

As Gasper gently helps him into his costume, the laid-back kitty remains remarkably calm. He doesn’t try to run away, wiggle out of the outfit or put up a fuss.

He simply lets his human get him ready, looking as though getting dressed for Halloween is just another part of his daily routine.

And with his gorgeous fluffy fur, sweet face and silly green monster outfit, the finished look is absolutely precious.

It’s almost as if Gus knows he’s the star of the show!

Of course, anyone who has ever tried putting a sweater or costume on a cat knows just how unusual this level of cooperation can be.

Many cats dislike wearing clothing because it can restrict their movement, interfere with grooming or feel unfamiliar against their fur.

According to animal welfare experts, cats generally don’t need clothing, and costumes should only be used when the animal is comfortable and can move naturally.

Owners should avoid anything that restricts breathing, blocks vision or creates a risk of getting tangled. If a cat freezes, struggles or shows signs of distress, it’s best to remove the outfit.

Every cat has a different personality, though, and some are more tolerant of gentle handling than others.

Gus certainly appears to be one of those exceptionally easygoing kitties.

Whether he’s dressed as a monster or whatever surprise Gasper has planned next, this fluffy little guy has seemingly mastered the art of staying cool under pressure.

And we have to admit, watching him calmly get dressed is almost as entertaining as seeing the finished costume.

With an entire month of Gustober ahead, there’s no telling what adorable outfit Gus might model next.

One thing is certain: this sweet Persian mix is making Halloween a whole lot cuter, one costume at a time!
