As autumn’s cool breezes sneak into the air, tons of people are flocking to the coast to get in one last beach day.
There’s still plenty of warmth and sunshine for a day on the water, especially if you have a furry friend who wants to come with you. After all, a beach day with a dog can’t be beat!
One doting dog mom captured her Beagle puppy’s first day at the beach on camera, and it’s going viral for all the best reasons.
From his determined crawling on the sand to his perfect dinner outfit, @bogeythebeagle is out to impress!

What an adorable first beach day! This looks like a memory that neither Bogey nor his family will ever forget, though it sounds like the puppy made plenty of friends at dinner who won’t forget him either.
This little beach bum is even managing to steal his fur brother’s heart, which sounds like it isn’t easy to do. The older Labrador Retriever isn’t nearly as into playtime as the baby is, but today they managed to compromise.
It truly is a special day filled with firsts for this baby Beagle: his first trip to the beach, and his first play session with his brother.
We also want to applaud Bogey’s parents for being so vigilant about beach safety with a dog. Someone was next to the puppy at all times, and they made sure he didn’t get far into the water.
The ocean can be unpredictable, after all! But thanks to the pup parents’ attention and planning, Bogey had an amazing day!
