The family in this video visited an animal shelter and were instantly chosen by one of the resident cats. In the clip you are about to watch, you can see the cat batting desperately at the glass partition between herself and the little girl who has come to look for a pet.
It’s as if the cat knew instantly that she belonged with that girl. The feeling was obviously mutual, and all the little girl wanted was to get closer to the adorable, homeless kitty.

They put in an application on the spot but did not have high hopes, figuring that someone had already put in a claim for this adorable cat. But they were in luck, for later that afternoon, their request was approved and “Missy,” as they named her, came to her forever home.
In subsequent videos, you can see the cat is making herself right at home, snoozing on the bed and totally loving that she is finally in a safe place, surrounded by caring people.
