If there’s one thing dogs can’t resist, it’s a good stick — and Cooper the Golden Retriever just proved it in the cutest way. While playing in the yard, Cooper discovered the perfect stick and decided it absolutely had to come inside to show off to his parents. There was just one tiny problem: the stick was way too big to fit through the doggy door.

In the hilarious video, Cooper studies the situation and tries several times to squeeze his new treasure through. At first, he keeps holding the stick straight in his mouth, but it won’t budge. After a few failed attempts, clever Cooper finally figures out a different strategy — and wins! Watching him proudly strut inside with his stick is pure gold.
