Bringing a new baby home can be a big adjustment for any dog, but one English Bulldog named Oz seems to have found his own way to handle the change.
The sweet pup has a new little girl in his life, and instead of being jealous, confused or nervous, Oz has apparently discovered one major perk of having a baby in the house: the toys.
On May 12, his mom caught him quietly playing with the baby’s toys in the nursery, and the moment was almost too cute to handle.
Oz had no idea he was being watched as he entertained himself with the baby’s play mat. He looked completely content, happily enjoying the soft, dangly toys as if the nursery had been built just for him.
The adorable video quickly won over viewers online, racking up hundreds of thousands of hearts in less than a week.
And honestly, it is easy to see why.

Oz may have been reminding his mom that he is still a baby too, but he also proved that dogs and babies really do have a lot in common. They both love attention. They both love cozy spaces. And apparently, they both love colorful toys that dangle right in front of their faces.
“My 4 French Bulldogs love my baby’s little mat, LOL,” one commenter wrote. “They’re just babies also.”
That pretty much sums it up.
Whether Oz sees himself as the baby’s big brother, cousin or official nursery toy inspector, he seems more than ready for the job. If this is how he behaves around the baby’s things, there is a good chance he is going to be one patient and loving companion as she grows up.
Of course, viewers were not only charmed by his playful side. They were also obsessed with his classic Bulldog look.
One person joked that they thought Oz was wearing “a comfy doggie scarf,” only to realize it was actually his adorable neck roll.
Oz may still be young, but he is already growing into those famous English Bulldog wrinkles perfectly.
For his mom, the video was a sweet reminder that while there may be a new baby in the house, Oz still wants his own turn to play.
And judging by the internet’s reaction, no one is complaining.
