Having kids is not easy. Any parent knows it is a full-time job, especially when the little ones get bored and decide it is your responsibility to entertain them.
Apparently, that is true in the horse world too.
One mama horse recently had the most relatable parenting moment when her playful foal decided he wanted attention and would not take no for an answer. Instead of politely asking to play, the baby horse climbed right onto his mom’s back and draped himself over her like she was a comfy couch.
It was equal parts hilarious and adorable.
You could practically hear the little foal saying, “Moooom, can we play?” as he rested on top of her, clearly trying to get her attention. Just like a human toddler, he seemed determined to make sure his mom knew exactly what he wanted.
The sweet baby looked perfectly happy using his mother as a personal pillow, but mama horse did not seem quite as amused. After putting up with his antics for a little while, she finally decided enough was enough.

In a very understandable mom move, she rolled back and shifted away, gently getting her clingy little one off of her.
No judgment here. Even the most patient moms need a little personal space sometimes.
Viewers could not stop laughing over the foal’s dramatic attempt to get his mother to play. Many parents immediately saw themselves in the scene.
“My kids when I’m trying to sleep,” one person joked.
“Well, what do you know? We aren’t the only ones with a baby on the hip. Adorable!” another viewer wrote.
A third person imagined exactly what the tired mama horse was thinking, commenting, “She’s looking at you like, ‘Mom, help.’”
Another viewer summed it up simply: “Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.”
