A Golden Retriever named Bauer made sure his mom’s relaxing bath was anything but peaceful after deciding he wanted to join in on the fun.
Bauer lives with the Moriarty family, whose social media account @imbluethesiberiann is named after their Siberian Husky. But on September 7, it was Bauer who stole the show when Mom tried to enjoy a quiet soak in the tub.
Apparently, Bauer didn’t get the memo that bath time was supposed to be relaxing.
As Mom settled in, Bauer and his Golden Retriever brother, Maverick, both seemed determined not to miss out. Maverick took the more cautious approach, standing nearby like a four-legged lifeguard.
Bauer had a very different idea.
The mischievous Golden suddenly jumped straight into the bathtub with Mom, leaving her stunned. Even more hilariously, Bauer apparently enjoyed himself so much that he tried to climb back in for a second round.

Viewers quickly noticed the look on Bauer’s face right before the chaos began.
“I have a Golden, and I know this face means something bonkers is about to happen,” one commenter joked after spotting Bauer’s lip caught on his teeth.
The prediction turned out to be pretty accurate.
Another viewer admitted, “This is only funny because he’s not mine.”
For Bauer’s incredibly patient mom, the relaxing bath may have been ruined, but she was at least left with a hilarious story — and proof that owning a Golden Retriever means you are rarely alone, even in the bathtub.
