Weller the Bernese Mountain Dog seems to have one simple rule in life — everyone can be a friend.
From horses and kittens to butterflies, chickens and even tiny caterpillars, the gentle giant has won over animal lovers with his incredibly sweet approach to nearly every creature he meets.
Weller’s unusual collection of friendships was highlighted in an adorable compilation shared on TikTok by @TheBernerBunch.
The video shows Weller happily greeting a full-sized horse with kisses before spending time with a much smaller miniature horse.
But his friendships don’t stop there.
At one point, Weller sits perfectly still while a butterfly rests right on his nose. In another clip, he discovers a tiny toad and carefully gives it the gentlest tap with his paw, almost as if he’s asking the little creature to play.
Weller is also seen relaxing among a flock of chickens, staring curiously into a pond filled with colorful fish and inspecting a caterpillar crawling nearby.
One especially heartwarming moment shows him meeting a newborn calf and welcoming it with an affectionate lick.
And when he isn’t making friends with farm animals and backyard critters, Weller can be found cuddling with a tiny kitten or hanging out with dogs of all different breeds and sizes.

Despite his enormous size, Weller appears remarkably calm and careful around even the smallest animals.
His sweet interactions have a simple message that viewers can’t get enough of — Weller doesn’t seem to care what his new friends look like, how big they are or even what species they happen to be.
