A sweet shelter dog in Texas has gone viral twice, but somehow he is still waiting for someone to take him home for good.
Blue has been staying at the Garland Animal Shelter, where volunteers have been working hard to help him find the family he deserves.
One of those volunteers, Sasha, regularly shares the stories of long-term shelter dogs on social media in hopes of giving them a better chance at adoption.
Blue’s story has been especially heartbreaking.

According to Sasha, Blue is a “calm and gentle boy” who loves people, children and other dogs.
That has left many viewers wondering how a dog with such an easygoing personality could have ended up back at the shelter twice.
Blue quickly won over people online, with commenters flooding his videos with messages of support.
One viewer wrote that Blue deserves to be loved so deeply that he never has to remember the sadness he has already been through.
