John Travolta may be a Hollywood legend, but at home he’s just a very proud dog dad.
The 72-year-old actor shared an adorable new video on Instagram showing him cuddling with his rescue pup Peanut after bath time, and the little dog clearly had no plans to keep her freshly washed face to herself.
In the clip, Travolta is lying in bed with Peanut snuggled close beside him.
“Did we just have a bath?” he asks as the freshly cleaned pup settles in near his face.
“You’re so clean. Are you so clean?” Travolta says before Peanut suddenly starts covering him in kisses.
The actor bursts out laughing as Peanut licks his face, then gives the pup a kiss of his own and tells her how proud he is.
Travolta captioned the video, “Peanut is happy after having a bath.”

Peanut has become a familiar face to Travolta’s fans over the years, but her story started long before she became part of a famous family.
The little dog was once known as Mac N Cheese and was rescued by Paw Works, a Southern California nonprofit that helps abandoned dogs and cats find new homes. Paw Works says it has rescued more than 15,000 animals since it was founded.
Peanut’s big break came at the 2022 Academy Awards.
Jamie Lee Curtis brought the rescue dog on stage during a tribute to Betty White, whose love of animals and animal-welfare advocacy had been a major part of her public life.
Peanut was one of several rescue puppies connected to Paw Works, but by the time of the Oscars, she was still waiting for someone to take her home.
That someone turned out to be Travolta.
According to earlier reporting, the actor met Peanut after the show, held her for about 30 minutes and eventually agreed to adopt her for his son Benjamin.
Since then, Peanut has gone from shelter pup to full-fledged member of the Travolta household.
She has popped up in plenty of family moments online, including photos with Travolta and Benjamin, a pizza-sharing session and even a trip into an airplane cockpit.
Paw Works continues to highlight John Travolta as one of the celebrities who have supported the rescue organization’s mission.
And judging by the latest video, Peanut seems pretty pleased with how everything turned out.
She started life without a permanent home.
Now she gets warm baths, plenty of cuddles and apparently unlimited opportunities to give John Travolta a face full of dog kisses.
