A curious little black cat has captured hearts online after climbing through a stranger’s window and deciding she had found herself a second home.

What started as an unexpected visit quickly turned into an adorable friendship, and the woman’s discovery about her furry visitor made the story even sweeter.

In a TikTok video, a woman explained how the friendly neighborhood cat first appeared at her apartment completely uninvited.

One day, the little feline simply jumped through an open window, apparently deciding the place was worth exploring.

At first, the black cat only stopped by for brief visits. She would wander inside, spend a little time getting comfortable, and eventually head back outside.

But those quick visits soon became longer and longer.

Before the woman knew it, her mysterious guest was making herself right at home, settling in for naps and spending extended periods inside the apartment.

The woman even began feeding her unexpected visitor, although she eventually grew concerned that the cat might be lost or homeless.

“Suddenly she’s sleeping at my flat, and she’s here all the time,” she explained in the video.

With the cat becoming such a regular guest, the woman decided to investigate whether her new furry friend belonged to someone.

That’s when she discovered the hilarious truth.

The cat wasn’t a stray at all. She already had a loving family nearby!

As it turned out, this social little feline simply enjoyed making friends around the neighborhood and apparently saw nothing wrong with having several favorite places to visit.

Her actual family confirmed that their adventurous pet loved meeting new people, putting the woman’s worries to rest.

In other words, the clever kitty had figured out how to enjoy the benefits of multiple households without officially moving out of her own.

TikTok viewers couldn’t get enough of the adorable arrangement.

“She chose you!” one person commented.

“What a beautiful story,” another wrote.

Others were relieved to learn that the cat’s original family had been located, especially since friendly outdoor cats sometimes wander into neighboring homes looking for attention, food or a comfortable place to sleep.

According to Cats Protection, a British animal welfare organization, cats that appear lost may actually have owners nearby. The group recommends checking for identification or a microchip before assuming a visiting cat needs a new home.

Experts also caution against feeding unfamiliar cats without first checking with their owners, since some pets require special diets or medications.

Fortunately, this neighborhood sweetheart’s family knows all about her social adventures.

And while she may already have a permanent home, that clearly hasn’t stopped her from collecting extra humans to love.

After all, why settle for one cozy couch and one set of people to spoil you when the entire neighborhood is happy to welcome you?

This little black cat might just have figured out the secret to living her very best nine lives.
