A toy poodle’s over-the-top reunion with her owner at a train station is winning the internet, with an Instagram clip of the moment pulling in more than 8.3 million views in just a few days.

The video, posted November 14 on the account @toypoodletoffifee, shows Toffee, a tiny toy poodle, waiting at the station with one of her owners. The second her other mom walked through the gate, Toffee couldn’t contain herself. She bolted down the stairs, skipped the last step entirely, wagged her tail like crazy, and launched straight into her owner’s arms.

The greeting was so enthusiastic that Toffee ended up tangled in her owner’s earbuds after they fell out from all the excitement. But the little dog didn’t care — the bouncing and tail-wagging didn’t stop.

“It happens every time,” her owner told Newsweek. “She’s just as happy when I’ve only been gone for two hours. Watching her run towards me is one of the most beautiful feelings in the world.”

Jumping up to reach a person’s face is actually a classic sign of canine affection, something experts say is a natural way for dogs to connect with their humans. And according to her owners, this particular train station is special to Toffee — it’s usually where the family reunites, so she starts buzzing with excitement before they even arrive.

“I truly believe only dog owners can fully understand this — that incredible moment when you realize they’ve missed you with all their heart,” her owner said.

In just four days, the video soared to more than 8.5 million views, along with over 726,000 likes and thousands of comments from people smitten with Toffee’s joyful sprint.

“I can feel the joy through the screen,” one viewer wrote.

Another commented, “This is how you know you’re her favorite person ever.”

And one person summed it up perfectly: “The flying leap off the steps! Toffee cannot contain her joy at seeing you.”
