A rescue donkey named Cash just proved he knows how to party.
The adorable donkey was caught on camera dancing along to live music during his birthday celebration at Our Simple Homestead, a Tennessee farm animal sanctuary that is home to a group of rescue donkeys known as Cash’s Crew.
And honestly, this may be the cutest birthday party on the internet.
The celebration took place on May 17, and singer-songwriter Rebecca Brunner was there performing live music for the crowd. But it was Cash who became the real star of the show when he started moving along to the music like the party was made just for him.
Which, of course, it was.
Guest @cowgirlbraelynn captured the priceless moment on video as Cash appeared to groove along while Brunner sang. The rescue donkey looked completely thrilled, soaking up the attention and enjoying the music like a true birthday king.

The sweet clip is more than just funny. It is also a reminder of how far Cash has come.
According to the story, Cash was rejected by his mother as a baby and had to be bottle-fed by his forever family. Without their love and care, he may never have grown into the happy, music-loving donkey now dancing to Fleetwood Mac at a party thrown in his honor.
Fans in the comments could not get enough.
“He’s trying to request ‘Pink Pony Club,’” one person joked.
Others immediately compared Cash to the most famous donkey in movie history: Donkey from Shrek. The comparison makes sense. Cash clearly loves music, attention and a good crowd, just like the animated sidekick.
One commenter even dropped the perfect dad joke for the occasion.
“In what key? Don-key,” they wrote.
Cash may be a rescue farm animal, but he clearly has star quality. Between the birthday party, the live music and his unexpected dance moves, he managed to turn a sweet sanctuary celebration into a viral moment.
