Pool season is officially here, and one litter of mini Sheepadoodle puppies is already making the most of it.
Eight tiny black-and-white pups recently had their very first pool day, and the result was exactly as adorable as you would expect.
In a video shared by @sunflowerfamilyfarms on Instagram, the little puppies are seen standing together in the shallow end of a backyard pool, soaked from head to paw and looking both brave and slightly confused about this whole swimming situation.
Then, one by one, the puppies take their turn in the water.
Each pup paddles out a few feet with the tiniest, sweetest doggy paddle before being gently turned around by a human instructor and encouraged to swim back toward the pool steps.
It is part swim lesson, part puppy parade, and part cuteness overload.
The puppies may be small, but they are clearly trying their best. Their little paws splash through the water as they make their way back to safety, proving that even baby dogs somehow seem to know what to do once they hit the pool.
Between the tiny cries, the wet curls and the determined paddling, the whole scene looks like a puppy version of a toddler swim class.
Only fluffier.

Viewers immediately fell in love with the mini Sheepadoodle pool party.
“How to fall in love multiple times within seconds,” one person wrote.
Another commenter had the right idea, writing, “This is my kinda pool party.”
Others could not get over the puppies’ swimming form and tiny noises.
“Proper puppy paddle,” one viewer said.
Another person loved “the little thunk thunk thunks swimming towards the camera.”
Someone else summed it up perfectly: “Beautiful swimming class! The puppy paddles are precious.”
The clip is the kind of simple summer moment animal lovers cannot resist. Eight tiny puppies, one backyard pool, and a very important first lesson in how to splash, paddle and make the internet completely melt.
The little Sheepadoodles may not be Olympic swimmers yet, but they have already won gold in cuteness.

I couldn’t breed these dogs because I could never force myself to “get rid” of them; They are one of the few poodle mixes that are really pretty.
She needs to get them one of those rigid plastic kiddie pools that is about a foot deep and put bricks around the inside and outside so they can easily get in and out. They will soon learn to love the water and not fear it.
