Watching horses try Jell-O may not sound like must-see summer entertainment, but one equestrian’s creative idea has turned into an unexpectedly adorable viral moment.
Rebecca Bowen, who posts online as @bbowen0, decided to surprise her horses with a cool treat during the summer heat. She served them plates of strawberry-flavored Jell-O and recorded their reactions as they investigated the strange, wiggly snack.
At first, the horses appeared unsure about what had been placed in front of them. They sniffed the gelatin, nudged it with their noses and carefully tested it before finally deciding to dig in.
Once they got a taste, however, there was no stopping them. The horses enthusiastically licked the plates clean, with each animal showing a slightly different reaction to the unusual treat.
The video, posted July 17, quickly delighted viewers, who were especially amused by one horse’s dramatic mouth movements.
