One exhausted baby elephant has captured the internet’s heart after she was filmed struggling to stay awake following a long day of playing in the sunshine.
In a sweet TikTok video, the little elephant could be seen resting peacefully on a bed of hay after an eventful day outdoors.
The baby girl looked completely worn out as she stretched out for a much-needed nap.
At one point, she briefly opened her eyes, but it did not take long before she drifted right back to sleep.
The person who shared the clip described her as a “sleepy little girl” after enjoying a full day outside.

Another video posted by the same account showed the playful elephant splashing around in a bucket of water and soaking up the afternoon sun before her nap.
Viewers quickly fell in love with the adorable moment.
“This baby is adorable,” one person wrote.
Another viewer called her “precious” and said they wished they could cuddle her.
“Look at all those baby hairs, it’s like a fuzzy peach,” the commenter added.
Others could not get enough of the elephant’s sleepy expression and tiny tongue peeking out as she rested.
The peaceful clip proved that even the most energetic little elephants eventually need to stop, stretch out and recharge.
