A sweet calico cat has completely won over the internet after apparently deciding that a tiny French Bulldog puppy was her baby.
The adorable moment was captured in a TikTok video posted by @spiderfrenchies, showing the cat gently grooming a small gray Frenchie puppy her owner was fostering.
Instead of keeping her distance, the cat immediately slipped into mom mode.
In the clip, she cuddles the puppy close and carefully cleans him, holding onto him as if he were one of her own kittens.
The text on the video reads, “My cat thinks this puppy is her baby.”

The owner explained that she had been helping the rest of the puppies nurse when she turned around and spotted the unexpected bonding session.
“I took her out right after this video, but she was so gentle with him,” she wrote.
Viewers quickly fell in love with the unlikely little family.
“That’s obviously her child, whom she birthed,” one person joked.
Another commenter couldn’t resist pointing out the supposed resemblance between the two.
“Do you not see the family resemblance?” they wrote.
Others noted that the experience could actually be good for the foster puppy.
One viewer suggested that growing up around such a gentle cat could help the puppy become more comfortable around cats later in life, which could make him an even better fit for a future home with feline siblings.
Whether the puppy realizes it or not, it looks like he already has one very devoted foster mom keeping a close eye on him.
