That’s exactly what happened to Brown Hiking Trails, who recently discovered their pet deer, Benny, having the time of his life bouncing around on their winter pool cover. And yes, it’s every bit as adorable as it sounds.
In the now-viral clip, Benny can be seen hopping, jumping, slipping, and sliding across the cover like it’s his own personal playground. He clearly knows he’s not supposed to be there, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying every single second of it. Keeping a curious deer off a pool cover, after all, is probably about as easy as you’d expect.

As Benny prances around, viewers can’t help but laugh — though many also crossed their fingers that the cover stayed intact.
